How to list 50 Vinted items in an evening
Vinted has no bulk upload button. There's no official way to post fifty items at once, and no setting hidden in your profile that unlocks one. Every item has to be created individually.
That's the bad news. The good news is that the posting isn't what eats your evening. It's the writing, the pricing, and switching between jobs fifty times over. SortdAI takes the writing and pricing off your plate for the whole pile at once. This guide is how to set up the rest of your evening around it, so fifty items go from floor to feed without the faff.
What you actually need
- Your phone and a window
- Floor space for a few piles
- A SortdAI account (one credit per item)
- One uninterrupted evening
What you don't
- A Vinted Pro account
- A spreadsheet or notes app
- To write a single description yourself
- To post all fifty tonight
The system is simple batching. Sort everything, shoot everything, let SortdAI write everything, then post in blocks. Each pass is one kind of job, so you stop paying the cost of switching fifty times.
Sort the pile before you touch your phone
Split everything by wardrobe first: men's, women's and kids'. Then, inside each wardrobe, group by category: tops, dresses, trousers, knitwear, shoes, coats.
The wardrobe split matters because SortdAI asks for it once per upload. One batch per wardrobe means every item gets the right sizing and categories without you fixing them afterwards. The category split matters for your photos: twelve jumpers in a row means one setup and one set of decisions, rather than readjusting for every item.
Be ruthless with anything damaged. A stain that won't shift, a broken zip or heavy bobbling will cost you more in messages and returns than it earns. Either leave it out, or keep it in and make sure the flaw is photographed so it's described honestly.
Shoot every item in the same order: front, back, label
Set up once, in daylight, against one plain background, and work through the piles without stopping. Three photos per item, always in the same order: front, back, then a clear close-up of the brand and size label. That's all SortdAI needs to write an accurate listing.
The order is the trick. Your phone numbers photos in the order you take them, and SortdAI groups them in threes in that same order. Keep the rhythm and your 150 photos arrive already sorted into 50 listings. Delete any retakes before you upload so nothing gets knocked out of step.
If an item has a flaw, swap the back shot for a close-up of the mark so the condition comes out right. Any extra shots you want on Vinted, like a styled photo or a detail, can stay in your camera roll to add when you post.
If your photos are the weak link, our guide to photos that actually sell covers the lighting and angles in detail.
Upload a whole wardrobe and let SortdAI write it
Drop in all the photos for one wardrobe at once and pick Men's, Women's or Kids'. Tick smoke-free or pet-free home if they apply and it goes into every description, so you never type it again.
Before you hit analyse, scroll through the groups once. Each one should show a single item. If a retake slipped in, use the scissors to split or merge groups, drag photos to reorder them, or tap + to add a photo you missed. It's a one-minute check that saves credits.
Then confirm and walk away. Analysis runs in the background and we'll email you when it's ready, so you can close the tab, start uploading the next wardrobe, or put the kettle on.
Review the whole batch in one pass
Your results come back as a table: title, category, brand, size, colour, condition, price and description for every item. Work down it in one go rather than item by item. Every field is editable, so just click and type to change anything.
Three things are worth a glance on each row: the brand and size match the label, the condition matches the item, and the price feels right. SortdAI suggests a price for everything as a starting point. For your higher-value pieces, it's worth thirty seconds checking what similar items have sold for on Vinted before you settle on a number.
If a listing is clearly wrong, use the flag button on that row to let us know and we'll take a look.
Export, then post in blocks
Hit Export to Excel. Any edits you made in the table come with it, so you've got every field in its own column, ready to copy straight into Vinted. No decisions left to make, which means you can post in front of the telly.
Now the part that surprises people. Posting all fifty items in one go is usually worse than spreading them out. Vinted's feed favours recently listed items, so a batch posted together competes with itself, and forty of them sink without being seen. Post in blocks of ten or so across a few days and you keep turning up in feeds instead of appearing once.
Posting from your phone? Your History tab has recent listings with tap-to-copy titles and descriptions. If you edited anything, post from your export so you get your edited version.
Keep a relist pile
Anything that hasn't sold in about a month isn't necessarily priced wrong, it's usually just buried. Vinted rewards fresh listings, so an item posted six weeks ago is effectively invisible even if it's perfect.
Every few weeks, go through what hasn't shifted, drop the price a little where it's fair, and relist. Keep each batch's SortdAI export and every listing is already written, so relisting is a five-minute copy and paste rather than a rewrite.
What SortdAI does, and what it doesn't
No tool can post to Vinted in bulk for you. Anything claiming otherwise is either automating clicks through a browser extension, which carries some account risk, or overstating what it does. SortdAI never touches your Vinted account, and the final paste is yours.
What SortdAI takes off your plate is the slow part: the title, description, category, condition and a suggested price for every item in the pile, all at once. You stay in control of what goes live and when.
Got a pile waiting? Let's get it sortd.
Upload your photos and SortdAI writes the title, description, Vinted category and a suggested price for every item, then exports the lot ready to post. You keep control of what goes live and when.
